The internet has been abuzz with chatter about Linkin Park<\/a><\/strong>‘s big announcement tomorrow. Their big announcement just so happened to coincide with Sum 41<\/a> <\/strong>singer Deryck Whibley<\/strong>‘s planned announcement, leading to speculation<\/a> that the two announcements were related and Linkin Park<\/a> <\/strong>would announce a reunion with Whibley <\/strong>on vocals. <\/p>\n Well, we still don’t know what Linkin Park<\/a><\/strong>‘s big announcement is, but we know it doesn’t involve Whibley<\/strong>, according to a statement he posted on Twitter. <\/p>\n \u201cI feel the need to dispel some current rumours. It\u2019s been brought to my attention that many people think I could be joining a reuniting band. But I just want to say, despite popular belief, I am not joining Oasis<\/strong>\u2026 or Linkin Park<\/a><\/strong>. Or any other band for that matter.<\/p>\n \u201cI have my own \u2018tour and book\u2019 announcement that I will now move to the end of the week, ahead of our U.S. tour.<\/p>\n \u201cI do look forward to seeing whatever both these amazing bands do in the future.\u201d<\/p>\n I guess we’ll just have to wait until tomorrow to find out what the big Linkin Park<\/a> <\/strong>announcement is.\n\t\t\t<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
