Primal Fear<\/a><\/strong> have begun rebuilding their lineup after a mass exodus earlier this week<\/a> left the band as a duo. Guitarists Alex Beyrodt<\/strong> and Tom Naumann<\/strong>, drummer Michael Ehr\u00e9<\/strong> and bassist Alex Jansen<\/strong> announced their departure on August 23, citing internal decisions within the band, leaving just vocalist Ralf Scheepers<\/strong> and bassist\/band producer Mat Sinner<\/strong> in the ranks.\u00a0<\/p>\n They\u2019ve just announced the addition of guitarist Thal\u00eca Bellazecca<\/strong>, known for her time with power metal act Angus McSix<\/strong>, to the band.\u00a0<\/p>\n “After my last show in Italy, I got to know Thal\u00eca personally and I realized what a wonderful person she is\u2026\u201d Scheepers <\/strong>wrote on Facebook. \u201cAnyone who knows me knows that personal contact and sympathy is very important to me. So I read up on her musical projects and skills and was blown away by her incredible talent! I can’t wait to work with her in the studio and of course live soon!”<\/p>\n Bellazecca <\/strong>added: “I’m stoked and excited to have the opportunity to play with these giants of the heavy and power metal scene. I feel so honored to share the stage with these amazing musicians and to start a new journey also with this incredible and historical band! Can’t wait to start working with all of you!”<\/p>\n Earlier this week, Primal Fear<\/a> <\/strong>also confirmed that Magnus Karlsson<\/strong>, whose role with the band has largely been a studio one in the last decade, will return as a live guitarist. Primal Fear<\/a><\/strong> announced his return with a social media post:\u00a0<\/p>\n “To answer some of your questions \u2013 Magnus Karlsson<\/strong> is still in the band! The only difference to a week ago is that he will join PRIMAL FEAR<\/a><\/strong> permanently on albums (like always) and from now on @ all live shows and tours again!”<\/p>\n
