Speaking to the Everblack podcast, Iron Maiden<\/a> <\/strong>bassist Steve Harris <\/strong>discussed the progress on new music from the legendary heavy metal band. He made it very simple: there is no new music in the works right now. <\/p>\n “No, not at the moment. There’s nothing in the works at the moment. But that’s not to say there won’t be.<\/p>\n “Bruce [Dickinson]<\/strong> has only just done his solo tour. So he spent quite a long time just doing that. So, I don’t know. Yeah. I mean, maybe we’ll find time to cram [a new album] in somewhere. You never know.”<\/p>\n In addition to the singer just recently finishing his solo tour, Iron Maiden<\/a><\/strong>‘s last album Senjutsu <\/em>came out in 2021. There were five and six year waits for The Book of Souls <\/em>and Senjutsu<\/em>, respectively, so it’s not super unusual for them to not have news yet.
