Go Ahead And Die<\/a><\/strong> \u2013 the band currently featuring vocalists and guitarists Max Cavalera<\/strong> (Nailbomb<\/a><\/strong>, Soulfly<\/a><\/strong>, etc.) and Igor Amadeus Cavalera<\/strong> (Healing Magic<\/strong>), drummer Johnny Valles<\/strong> (Healing Magic<\/strong>), and bassist Jackie Cruz<\/strong> (Jade Helm<\/strong>) \u2013 will release their first-ever live album Better Dead Than Mainstream: Live At The Marquee Theater<\/em> on September 13.<\/p>\n Better Dead Than Mainstream: Live At The Marquee Theater<\/em> was recorded on September 25, 2021 at the Marquee Theater in Tempe, AZ. The album was produced, engineered, and mastered by Arthur Rizk<\/strong> (Soulfly<\/a><\/strong>, Power Trip<\/a><\/strong>), and is available for pre-order here.<\/p>\n “It’s amazing to me that the lockdown allowed Igor and myself the opportunity to make such a brutal record!” said Max<\/strong> of the live effort. “That era gave us a clear view of harmful social issues as authoritarian rule was exploding in aggressive ways. This is a true live album, with no overdubs. It’s as brutal as the pandemic!”<\/p>\n
