Amidst all the hype over Gojira<\/strong>‘s recent Olympic performance<\/a> is another chunk of big news \u2013 Gojira<\/a><\/strong> is still working on a new record. The new record will be Gojira<\/a><\/strong>‘s first since their 2021 effort Fortitude<\/em> and will sound like\u2026 well, we’re actually not sure what it’ll sound like.<\/p>\n According to Gojira<\/a><\/strong> frontman Joe Duplantier<\/strong> in an interview with Chuck Armstrong<\/strong> of Loudwire Nights<\/a><\/em>, <\/p>\n “I wish I could\u2026 It’s not a secret, but I’ve gotta say we’re in the middle of it, and until it’s completed, it’s hard to tell people what it’s gonna be,” said Duplantier<\/strong>. “And also, I don’t want to. I want people to be surprised. But we’re working. We’re trying to deliver something that is meaningful and impactful. We’re very ambitious in terms of writing songs and the quality of it. And we wanna take a clear step forward and upward with this album. So we’re putting all our love and energy on it.”<\/p>\n
