Scour<\/a><\/strong> \u2013 the band featuring vocalist Phil Anselmo<\/strong> (Pantera<\/a><\/strong>), guitarists Derek Engemann<\/strong> (Cast The Stone<\/a><\/strong>, China Girl<\/a><\/strong>, ex-Cattle Decapitation<\/a><\/strong>) and Mark Kloeppel<\/strong> (Cast The Stone<\/a><\/strong>, Misery Index<\/a><\/strong>), bassist John Jarvis<\/strong> (Agoraphobic Nosebleed<\/a><\/strong>, ex-Pig Destroyer<\/a><\/strong>), and drummer Adam Jarvis (Asthma Castle<\/a><\/strong>, Misery Index<\/a><\/strong>, Pig Destroyer<\/a><\/strong>) \u2013 will play their first and only show of 2024 on November 1 at Southport Hall in New Orleans. The show features Pentagram<\/a><\/strong>, Exhorder<\/a><\/strong>, and Sounding<\/strong> as the openers, and tickets will go on sale come September 6.<\/p>\n Scour<\/a><\/strong> also promises “more big news coming soon” which I’m guessing means new music. Scour<\/a><\/strong> has released three EPs throughout their career \u2013 Grey<\/em> in 2016, Red<\/em> in 2017, and Black<\/em> in 2020 \u2013 and no full-length albums yet. That or Anselmo<\/strong> is quitting the band and Jason Momoa<\/strong> is joining as their new vocalist<\/a>. I guess we’ll find out.<\/p>\n
