After the successful release of their 13th studio album, <em>Endtime Signals<\/em>, through Century Media Records, the band has announced a much-anticipated vinyl reissue of their 1999 album <em>Projector<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p><em>Projector<\/em>, a fan favorite, marked a significant shift for <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/metalinjection.net\/tag\/Dark-Tranquillity\">Dark Tranquillity<\/a><\/strong>, as they began exploring more atmospheric and diverse elements in their sound. This release also marked the beginning of the band&#8217;s long partnership with Century Media Records and earned them their first nomination for a Swedish Grammis Award. The album\u2019s progressive approach to melodic death metal has made it a standout, and its reissue comes just in time to celebrate its 25<sup>th<\/sup> anniversary.<\/p>\n<p>Originally recorded at Gothenburg&#8217;s famed Studio Fredman with <strong>Fredrik Nordstr\u00f6m<\/strong> (known for his work with <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/metalinjection.net\/tag\/In-Flames\">In Flames<\/a><\/strong>, <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/metalinjection.net\/tag\/Arch-Enemy\">Arch Enemy<\/a><\/strong>, and <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/metalinjection.net\/tag\/At-The-Gates\">At The Gates<\/a><\/strong>), the album\u2019s 10 main tracks have been remastered by <strong>Dan Swan\u00f6<\/strong> at Unisound (<strong><a href=\"https:\/\/metalinjection.net\/tag\/Opeth\">Opeth<\/a><\/strong>, <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/metalinjection.net\/tag\/Katatonia\">Katatonia<\/a><\/strong>, <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/metalinjection.net\/tag\/Edge-Of-Sanity\">Edge Of Sanity<\/a><\/strong>) for this special 2024 vinyl edition.<\/p>\n<p>The <em>Projector<\/em> (Re-issue 2024) vinyl will be available starting November 1, with three distinct color variants for collectors:<\/p>\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Ltd. brick red LP \u2014 available at all outlets<\/li>\n<li>Ltd. neon orange LP \u2014 300 copies from Bengans, EMP &amp; Napalm Records<\/li>\n<li>Ltd. transparent sun yellow LP \u2014 300 copies from CMDistro &amp; select retailers<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Pre-orders <a href=\"http:\/\/darktranquillity.lnk.to\/ProjectorReissue24\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">are available now<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/metalinjection.net\/tag\/dark-tranquillity\">Dark Tranquillity<\/a><\/strong>\u00a0is currently on tour across North America, with\u00a0<strong><a href=\"https:\/\/metalinjection.net\/tag\/amorphis\">Amorphis<\/a><\/strong>\u00a0and\u00a0<strong><a href=\"https:\/\/metalinjection.net\/tag\/fires-in-the-distance\">Fires In The Distance<\/a><\/strong>\u00a0as support.
