Jane’s Addiction<\/strong>‘s show on September 13 at the Leader Bank Pavilion in Boston, MA ended abruptly when vocalist Perry Farrell<\/strong> assaulted guitarist Dave Navarro<\/strong> on stage.<\/p>\n Video footage of the incident shows Farrell<\/strong> walking over to Navarro<\/strong> and aggressively bumping him with his shoulder toward the end of the song “Ocean Size”, then looking back and getting up in Navarro<\/strong>‘s face. Farrell<\/strong> then pushed Navarro<\/strong> and even threw a punch before a roadie and Jane’s Addiction<\/strong> bassist Eric Avery<\/strong> broke it up. Farrell<\/strong> was ultimately escorted off stage while the rest of Jane’s Addiction<\/strong> went out and talked to the crowd a little bit.<\/p>\n Blabbermouth<\/a><\/em> further reports that Farrell<\/strong> was slurring his words all night prior to the confrontation with Navarro<\/strong>. It’s not clear what’s been going on with Farrell<\/strong> lately, but he’s had a rough go of things live. Fans reported a questionable performance by Farrell<\/strong> on September 10 at the Rooftop at Pier 17 in New York City, where Farrell<\/strong>‘s voice was not up to snuff.<\/p>\n “Ladies and gentlemen, I have to be honest with you. Something’s wrong with my voice,” said Farrell<\/strong> at the September 10. “I just can’t get the notes out all of a sudden.”<\/p>\n Avery<\/strong> remained optimistic in a statement on his Instagram regarding the September 10 show, saying: “Looking forward to getting another crack at this spectacular rooftop venue tonight. I’m optimistic we will be better.”<\/p>\n Jane’s Addiction’s<\/strong> classic line-up of Farrell<\/strong>, Navarro<\/strong>, Avery<\/strong> and drummer Stephen Perkins<\/strong> played their first show back together since 2010 earlier this year. So who knows how long this is going to last if there’s gonna be fights on stage.<\/p>\n Jane’s Addiction<\/strong> \u2013 fresh off their first song with the above lineup in 34 years<\/a> \u2013 still has a few shows left with Love And Rockets<\/strong>, assuming they happen.
