OK, so that\u2019s the bad news. The good news is that the Sephora Beauty Insider program is free to join, and there’s no minimum spend to qualify. Joining Beauty Insider takes about 10 seconds, or less than the time to pop on a fresh layer of Birthday Confetti-flavored Lancome lip gloss (just saying).<\/p>\n

As a Sephora Beauty Insider member, you earn points on all your purchases, which you can exchange for samples<\/a>, freebies and other rewards. The number of points you earn on different purchases depends on your level of membership. <\/p>\n

Sephora automatically awards you VIB status (Very Important Beauty Insider) when you spend $350 or more at Sephora within a calendar year. VIB status earns you 1.25 points back on all Sephora purchases. VIB-level membership also gets you access to all the Sephora Beauty Insider sale events, including the Sephora Spring Sale, Summer Bonus Sale and VIB Holiday Bonus Sale. <\/p>\n

You’re automatically awarded VIB Rouge status when you spend $1,000 or more at Sephora within a calendar year. Rouge membership status earns you 1.5 points back on all Sephora purchases. The Sephora Skincare Sale directly competes with Ulta’s Love Your Skin Event in January. Sephora offers shoppers a 50% off discount on a different skincare brand every day during the event. You need to be quick because each deal only lasts for 24 hours. In 2024, this event kicked off on Jan. 2 and lasted through Jan. 17. Brands in the mix included Kiehls 851, Origins, Murad and Tula Skincare.<\/p>\n

Sephora End-of-Year Sale<\/h3>\n

The End-of-Year Sale expands on Sephora’s After-Christmas Sale, offering up to 50% off oodles of holiday products and more. It runs alongside Sephora’s first big sales event of the year, the Skincare Sale.<\/p>\n

The sale, which hits around mid-February, offers up to 50% off on everything, including makeup, fragrances, skincare, hair care and more. Plus, Sephora usually gives shoppers free shipping with no minimum purchase requirement.<\/p>\n

Sephora Oh Snap! Spring Sale<\/h3>\n

Sephora first launched its Oh Snap! Sale in 2020 \u2013 likely as a way to compete with Ulta’s 21 Days of Beauty<\/a> biannual savings event. The Oh Snap! sale is open to all shoppers not just Beauty Insiders. This past year, it started on March 9 and ran through to the end of the month. <\/p>\n
