Ahead of the release of his upcoming solo album, The Mandrake Project<\/em>, which arrives on March 1st, and the start of a four-month tour,\u00a0Bruce Dickinson<\/a><\/strong> and his band will play a one-off warm-up show at The Observatory, Orange County on April 15th<\/sup>. <\/p>\n

\u201cWe\u2019re not afraid of doing some growing up in public\u201d explains Dickinson<\/a><\/strong><\/strong> \u201cso this show will be as close to a rehearsal as you can get \u2013 it\u2019s exciting to think what these musicians can do \u2013 and will do when there are over one thousand fans in the room!\u201d<\/p>\n

For this show, and the rest of the tour, the band will be a six-piece, with Swedish-born guitarist, songwriter, and multi-platinum credited producer Philip Naslund<\/strong> and Swiss session and touring guitarist Chris Declercq<\/strong> (who incidentally played on the current single, \u201cRain On The Graves\u201d) joining drummer Dave Moreno<\/strong>, keyboardist Mistheria<\/strong>, and bassist Tanya O\u2019Callaghan<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

\u201cSadly, and with regret, guitarist and producer Roy Z<\/strong> will no longer join the band on tour\u00a0due to some personal commitments,\u201d\u00a0explains Dickinson<\/a><\/strong>. \u201cHe\u00a0will remain in LA to work on some re-mixing and re-mastering of the catalog.\u00a0We all know the show must go on though, and this project is too important to everyone to not be the very best it can be. I\u2019m gutted about Roy<\/strong> because\u00a0he assembled most of the album and touring band, introducing Mistheria<\/strong> & Dave Moreno<\/strong> to the project and mentoring guitarist Chris Declerq<\/strong>. I\u2019m so\u00a0excited about what\u00a0both\u00a0Philip<\/strong> and Chris<\/strong> will bring on stage together and now my only ambition is to grab a little piece of the audiences\u2019 hearts every night.\u201d<\/p>\n

Tickets for the warm-up show will go on sale to the general public on Tuesday, February 20th<\/sup>\u00a0at 10 AM PST.<\/p>\n

In addition to the\u00a0previously announced 2024 live dates<\/a>\u00a0in Brazil and Mexico, the\u00a0Iron Maiden<\/a><\/strong>\u00a0frontman recently announced\u00a0a handful of European shows<\/a>.<\/p>\n
