Trivium<\/a><\/strong> and Bullet For My Valentine<\/a><\/strong> will hit the road next year<\/a> to celebrate their 2005 albums Ascendancy<\/em> and The Poison<\/em>. The tour will see Trivium<\/a><\/strong> and Bullet For My Valentine<\/a><\/strong> playing each record in full, which means that each band is gonna be spending a lot of time with that old material in the coming months.<\/p>\n So how might that affect their new stuff? According to Trivium<\/a><\/strong> frontman Matt Heafy<\/strong> in an interview with Rock Sound<\/em>, the band is going to try and get back in the Ascendancy<\/em> headspace while writing\u2026 and maybe even recruit Matt Tuck<\/strong> of Bullet For My Valentine<\/a><\/strong> for a guest spot.<\/p>\n “What we’ve been talking about is trying \u2013 not even trying \u2013 but getting back in the headspace of Ascendancy<\/em>,” said Heafy<\/strong> as transcribed by Metal Injection<\/em>. “Since we’ll be in that headspace, writing new music there and definitely having [Matt Tuck<\/strong>] on vocals. He has to do it now that it’s on film. He has to do it. So that I think that’ll be amazing.”<\/p>\n Tuck<\/strong> also touched on some of Bullet For My Valentine<\/a><\/strong>‘s upcoming plans, teasing that there might be a collaboration between them and Trivium in the lead-up to the tour.<\/p>\n “We’re doing some very special limited editions of vinyls of The Poison<\/em> [and the 2005 EP Hand Of Blood<\/em>], and combining a bunch of stuff with behind the scenes never released footage and artwork and all that kind of good stuff,” said Tuck<\/strong>. “Maybe even doing a collab with another band [note: Tuck<\/strong> looks at Heafy<\/strong> and both laugh]. You know, stuff like that.
