Korn<\/a><\/strong> will celebrate 30 years of their legendary self-titled debut album with a massive show at the BMO Stadium in Los Angeles, CA on October 5. The show features a lineup of both throwback and new bands, consisting of Evanescence<\/a><\/strong>, Gojira<\/a><\/strong>, Daron Malakian and Scars On Broadway<\/a><\/strong>, Spiritbox<\/a><\/strong>, and Vended<\/a><\/strong>.<\/p>\n “Reflecting on thirty years of Korn<\/a><\/strong> fills me with such immense gratitude for our journey, the growth we’ve experienced, and the incredible bond we share with our fans,” said Korn<\/a><\/strong> vocalist Jonathan<\/strong> Davis<\/strong>.<\/p>\n “It’s humbling to see how our music has touched so many lives across the globe. From our small club beginnings to now headlining stadiums, it’s been an unforgettable ride, and we owe it all to our amazing, undying, loyal community that’s made it possible. I\u2019m really looking forward to this incredible night to celebrate together.”<\/p>\n Tickets go on sale this Friday, March 8 at 10AM PST. Of course, a few questions remain \u2013 namely if Fieldly<\/strong> will come back from his three-year hiatus to celebrate the album’s anniversary, and if Korn<\/a><\/strong> will actually play Korn<\/em> in its entirety. Davis<\/strong> stated in a 2022 interview with Metal Hammer<\/em> that he’s not interested in playing the album closer “Daddy” live anymore, so we’ll see what happens.<\/p>\n “I felt like I robbed the world of doing that live for so long. I felt like I owed it to our fans that were hardcore enough to come and see us on the 20th<\/sup> anniversary of that album, but I don’t wanna do it again.<\/p>\n “Going out and touring that record, I realized how dark it is \u2013 it’s some depressing shit. As we got into Follow The Leader<\/em>, it became more about groove. The emotion was there, but it wasn’t that particular darkness we captured on that first record.”<\/p>\n
