Earthburner<\/a><\/strong> was originally created in 2002 by guitarist Jeremy Wagner<\/strong> upon Broken Hope<\/a><\/strong> going on hiatus. After one three-song EP in 2011, Earthburner<\/a><\/strong> is back and they’ve got a killer lineup! Earthburner<\/a><\/strong> is now Wagner<\/strong>, vocalist Devin Swank<\/strong> (Sanguisugabogg<\/a><\/strong>), drummer Mike Miczek<\/strong> (Broken Hope<\/a><\/strong>), bassist Tyler Affinito<\/strong>, and honorary backup vocalist Mitch Harris<\/strong> (guitarist for Napalm Death<\/a><\/strong>).<\/p>\n Earthburner<\/a><\/strong> is now streaming their first single back “Slaves To The Screen” alongside a 3-D animation created by Andrea Mantelli<\/strong> of Andrea Mantelli Productions.<\/p>\n “This song was written about how our world seems to be fixated with what new products are out, what clothing you should wear, what food to stuff your fat face with and what bullshit is flooding the mainstream and how people completely immerse themselves in it,” said Swank<\/strong>.<\/p>\n “It’s a perfect welcoming for Earthburner<\/a><\/strong> as we’re just 4 guys who stick their middle fingers in the face of the norm and play classick death metal\/grindcore! I’m so excited for this to get to the ears of people who are fans of death\/grind and all things heavy and with the help of M-Theory Audio it can get into the hands of such people too.”<\/p>\n Regarding Earthburner<\/a><\/strong>‘s “Slaves To The Screen” single and upcoming record Permanent Dawn<\/em>, guitarist Jeremy Wagner<\/strong> said: “I’m super-pumped about our first single, ‘Slaves To The Screen,’ being released for the world to hear.
