So we sat our collective asses down, listened to every <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/metalinjection.net\/tag\/cattle-decapitation\">Cattle Decapitation<\/a><\/strong> record, and figured out what songs we&#8217;d pick.<\/p>\n<p>There were a few interesting things to note about listening to everything <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/metalinjection.net\/tag\/cattle-decapitation\">Cattle Decapitation<\/a><\/strong> has ever put out:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>It&#8217;s pretty obvious why <em>Human Jerky<\/em> and <em>Homovore<\/em> are largely ignored live now \u2013 those goregrind-styled songs are worlds apart from how <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/metalinjection.net\/tag\/cattle-decapitation\">Cattle Decapitation<\/a><\/strong> sounds now, and it&#8217;d probably be weird to throw some 40-something second track in there with their more composed songs<\/li>\n<li><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/metalinjection.net\/tag\/cattle-decapitation\">Cattle Decapitation<\/a><\/strong> doesn&#8217;t play much off <em>Humanure<\/em>. Of every album they&#8217;ve put out, <em>Humanure<\/em> songs have made it to the stage a total of 31 times (<a href=\"https:\/\/www.setlist.fm\/stats\/albums\/cattle-decapitation-3bd6fc5c.html\">according to Setlist.fm<\/a>). It&#8217;s a good album, so it&#8217;s odd that it gets so ignored<\/li>\n<li>Alternatively, every single song (outside one interlude) from <em>Monolith Of Inhumanity<\/em> and <em>The Anthropocene Extinction<\/em> has made it to the stage.<\/li>\n<li><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/metalinjection.net\/tag\/cattle-decapitation\">Cattle Decapitation<\/a><\/strong>&#8216;s discography is so interesting to listen to from the start. The jumps between the first seven albums are insane in terms of ratcheting up the quality, though the most noticeable is between the almost-deathcore-like <em>Karma.Bloody.Karma<\/em> (that mid-2000s &#8220;deathcore-meets-death-metal&#8221;
