God Mother<\/a><\/strong> is back and they’re as energetic as they’ve ever been! God Mother<\/a><\/strong> is now streaming “Big Things Coming” from their new EP Sinneseld<\/em>, due out May 10.<\/p>\n Sinneseld is God Mother<\/strong>‘s fourth in a series of nine-letter titles, this time around using the Swedish word “sinneseld” \u2013 an archaic description of mental illness, translating to English as “mind fire.” God Mother<\/a><\/strong> vocalist Sebastian Campbell<\/strong> states: “The world has also changed a lot for the worse in the time between Obeveklig<\/em> and Sinneseld<\/em>. We have struggled to hold onto mental health and our sense of purpose, with the reality around us.”<\/p>\n So what should you expect from a band that opened The Dillinger Escape Plan<\/a><\/strong>‘s final shows? Chaos, and a lot of it. “It’s our most sprawling release, musically,” said Campbell<\/strong>. “‘Human+’ is probably the hardest song we\u2019ve ever written, sharing space with the rock n’ roll vibe of ‘Big Things Coming.'”<\/p>\n Sinneseld<\/em> was mixed by God Mother<\/a><\/strong>‘s Michael Dahlstr\u00f6m<\/strong> and mastered by Cult Of Luna<\/a><\/strong>‘s Magnus Lindberg<\/strong> (Refused<\/a><\/strong>, Birds In Row<\/strong>).
