Danish death metal band Strychnos<\/a><\/strong> will release their sophomore record Armageddon Patronage<\/em> on on May 17, and is now streaming the debut single “Winds Warning The Final Storm”. Armageddon Patronage<\/em> will also feature a guest spot from superfan Michael Poulsen<\/strong><\/a> of Volbeat<\/a><\/strong> on the track “Endless Void Dimension”, which is awesome considering Poulsen<\/strong>‘s ventures back into death metal lately<\/a>.<\/p>\n “This release will showcase a natural continuation of what A Mother’s Curse<\/em> began,” said Strychnos<\/a><\/strong> bassist and vocalist Martin Leth Andersen<\/strong>.<\/p>\n “The band seeks to refine and push further key elements from the debut \u2013 in ways of both aggressiveness and the more atmospheric parts. This follow-up also showcases an array of new details like alternative instrumentation, vocal variations, intros, outros, and a couple of noticeable guest appearances.”<\/p>\n Armageddon Patronage<\/em> was recorded and mixed by Lasse Ballade<\/strong> at Copenhagen’s Ballade Studios, and mastered by Necromorbus<\/strong>‘ infamous Tore Stjerna<\/strong>.
