Dean McDermott<\/strong> <\/a>made his separation from Tori Spelling<\/strong><\/a> social media official.<\/p>\n

McDermott, 57, recently tweaked the first line of his Instagram<\/a> bio, cutting the phrase, \u201cMarried to the love of my life @torispelling \u2764\ufe0f<\/span>.\u201d It is not known when McDermott deleted the shout-out, though it was visible as recently as November 2023.<\/p>\n

McDermott kept the sections of his bio that described him as a \u201cDad of 7, Actor, Comedian and Chef.\u201d He recently added \u201cAlcohol and Drug Counselor\u201d and \u201cBreathwork Specialist\u201d to the list.<\/p>\n

News broke on Friday, March 29, that Spelling, 50, officially filed for divorce<\/a> nine months after they separated. According to court documents obtained by TMZ, Spelling cited \u201cirreconcilable differences\u201d as the reason for the split and is seeking spousal support.<\/p>\n

\n\t\t\tTori Spelling and Dean McDermott have been making headlines since their scandalous start. When the pair met in 2005, McDermott was married to\u00a0Mary Jo Eustace, with whom he shares son Jack, and Spelling was married to Charlie Shanian. \u201cIt was love at first sight. I fell so hard \u2026 Then I noticed he had a [\u2026]\t\t<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

The Beverly Hills, 90210<\/i> alum also requested sole physical custody but joint legal custody of the pair\u2019s five children. Spelling and McDermott, who wed in 2006, share five children: Liam, 17, Stella, 15, Hattie, 12, Finn, 11, and Beau, 7. (McDermott also shares son Jack, 25, with ex-wife Mary Jo Eustace<\/strong>.)<\/p>\n

After nearly 17 years of marriage, McDermott announced via Instagram that he and Spelling called it quits<\/a>.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt\u2019s with great sadness and a very very heavy heart that after 18 years together and 5 amazing children, that @torispelling and I have decided to go our separate ways and start a new journey of our own,\u201d McDermott wrote on June 17, 2023. \u201cWe will continue to work together as loving parents and guide and love our children through this difficult time. We ask that you all respect our privacy as we take this time to surround our family with love and work our way through this.\u201d<\/p>\n

McDermott deleted his post<\/a> several hours later, with a source telling Us Weekly <\/i>that he and Spelling had a fight that spurred his announcement. McDermott\u2019s upload coincided with the date of separation<\/a> Spelling listed in her divorce filing.<\/p>\n
