Skid Row<\/a><\/strong> recently parted ways with vocalist Erik Gr\u00f6nwall<\/strong>. The band has since recruited Lzzy Hale<\/strong> of Halestorm<\/strong> for live shows<\/a>, but has not yet named a permanent new vocalist\u2026 though maybe a Sebastian Bach<\/strong> reunion is in the cards?<\/p>\n In a recent interview with Metal Hammer<\/a><\/em>, Bach<\/strong> said a reunion with his former Skid Row<\/a><\/strong> bandmates isn’t totally out of the question. Bach<\/strong> points out that his live setlist and Skid Row<\/a><\/strong>‘s have a lot of overlap, and that he’s starting to feel bad about collecting royalties from a band he hasn’t been in for nearly 30 years.<\/p>\n “I can definitely see that happening considering they play the same songs I play,” said Bach<\/strong>. “When I get a substantial royalty check for an album I did with musicians that I haven’t been in the same room with since 1996, I feel like a piece of shit. Because we should be giving something back to the fans that have made this great life possible.”<\/p>\n He added: “For me, doing three albums with Skid Row<\/a><\/strong>, I was just getting started. I didn’t think it would be over and done with so quick.”<\/p>\n Sebastian Bach<\/strong> fronted Skid Row<\/a><\/strong> from 1987 to their end in 1996. Skid Row<\/a><\/strong> reformed in 1999 with Johnny Solinger on vocals alongside the 1996 lineup of guitarists Scotti Hill<\/strong> and Dave Sabo<\/strong>, bassist Rachel Bolan<\/strong>, and drummer Charlie Mills<\/strong>.<\/p>\n Skid Row<\/a><\/strong> issued a statement on Gr\u00f6nwall<\/strong>‘s departure last week, saying: “Today Skid Row<\/a><\/strong> and Erik Gr\u00f6nwall<\/strong> jointly announce that Erik<\/strong> will step down as the vocalist for Skid Row<\/a><\/strong>,” said Skid Row<\/a><\/strong> in a statement. “Longtime friend Lzzy Hale<\/strong> of Halestorm<\/a><\/strong> will be taking over vocal duties for the upcoming scheduled four concerts.<\/p>\n “Erik<\/strong> has decided that the travel and rigors of the road is not conducive to his overall health and recovery, and wants to focus on a lifestyle that is more amenable for his well-being, healing and family.<\/p>\n “Skid Row<\/a><\/strong> is proud of what they have created and accomplished with Erik<\/strong> over the past two years and we wish nothing but the best to him and his health. To celebrate the last two years the band will be releasing a live album that perfectly captures this moment of time in the band’s 35+ year history, to be announced soon.<\/p>\n In the meantime, you can catch Skid Row<\/a><\/strong> with Hale<\/strong> at one of the dates below.
