What is a Solar Eclipse?

A solar eclipse happens when the moon is positioned between Earth and the sun, casting a shadow over our planet. Solar eclipses occur only during the phase of the new moon and there’re super cool to watch, but be sure to wear appropriate glasses so you don’t hurt your eyes. Don’t worry, we have a guide for you on where to acquire save viewing glasses!

Shop Solar Eclipse Glasses

The last total solar eclipse was six years ago, which makes this a monotonous and exciting event! To help celebrate the big day, many restaurants and retailers are offering freebies and deals, and we’ve rounded up all of them for you. Enjoy, and don’t forget those glasses (some restaurants and stores are giving them away for free with purchase).
