THE STUDY, FROM CONSUMER AFFAIRS RANKED THE STATES BASED ON SEASONAL DATA AND ONLINE TRENDS, AS WELL AS THE NUMBER OF HAUNTED ATTRACTIONS, PUMPKIN PATCHES AND SPIRIT HALLOWEEN STORES PER 100,000 PEOPLE. ROUNDING OUT THE TOP FIVE ARE MAINE, UTAH, IDAHO AND WEST VIRGINIA.
