They examine<br \/>\nthe malaise-ridden protagonist Binx Bolling&#8217;s &#8220;search&#8221; for meaning,<br \/>\nwhich he ultimately finds through responsibility: not the<br \/>\nresponsibility urged by respectable &#8220;values&#8221;, but that urged by<br \/>\nlove.<\/p>\n<p>They also look at how Binx searches for a deeper connection with<br \/>\nreality through his moviegoing habits.
