Tori Spelling<\/strong><\/a> knows she is lucky that her house is still standing after evacuating during the L.A. wildfires<\/a>, but she wasn\u2019t sure what she was walking into.<\/p>\n

\u201cI walk through our front door. You guys, I\u2019m not an alarmist,\u201d Spelling, 51, began during the Friday, January 24, episode of her \u201cMisspelling\u201d podcast<\/a>. \u201cI walked in and I gasped.\u201d<\/p>\n

After seeing the status of her house, Spelling\u2019s first thought was that someone had looted the home. But that\u2019s not exactly what went down.<\/p>\n

\u201c[I thought], \u2018While we were gone, out of town, evacuated, someone has broken into our home and has burglarized our home. There have been looters here. Look at the state of the house,\u2019\u201d she said. \u201cThere was s\u2014 everywhere. I mean, it looked like people had come in and just trashed our house. Then upon closer inspection, I realized, oh s\u2014, no, this is just the way I live.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\t\t\tCandy Spelling\u2019s Malibu mansion was burned to the ground amid the ongoing wildfires sweeping the city. \u201cI\u2019m in shock and processing this massive loss for our family,\u201d Spelling, 79, told TMZ on Thursday, January 9. \u201cI am beyond grateful for the memories. It was truly a wonderful gift to have.\u201d Candy further noted to the [\u2026]\t\t<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Spelling explained to podcast listeners that she took her five kids<\/a> \u2014 Liam, 17, Stella, 16, Hattie, 13, Finn, 12, and Beau, 7 \u2014 and evacuated to an Airbnb in Camarillo, which is north of Los Angeles. (Fires started in Los Angeles earlier this month have burned more than 50,000 acres of land with several stars having lost their homes<\/a>.)<\/p>\n

\u201cThat\u2019s when it really dawned on me that when all of this settles down, I know it\u2019s just stuff. I\u2019ve seen the devastation, the loss, friends, families, people displaced, people that have lost everything,\u201d Spelling continued. \u201cWhen you\u2019re lucky enough that you still have your home and you still have your things, it really put it into perspective that it\u2019s like, God, I have so much stuff.\u201d<\/p>\n

The actress said that she\u2019s \u201chappy\u201d and \u201cexcited\u201d to donate some of her belongings to those who need it in the wake of the fires.<\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019m really ready to do that \u2014 especially this all on the heels of me doing my hoarding episode \u2014 I really just haven\u2019t had the time, but I\u2019m ready to let go of stuff,\u201d Spelling explained. \u201cEverybody around us in L.A., losing their stuff and needing stuff. Especially being back in town now, we can help donate all our stuff that we can get out and give it to the people who have lost stuff.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\t\t\tTori Spelling is offering insight into her financial situation after filing for divorce from Dean McDermott. The self-proclaimed \u201ccollector\u201d recorded the Wednesday, April 11, episode of her \u201cMisspelling\u201d podcast live from the four storage units in which her \u201clong history of stuff\u201d lives. However, she can no longer afford the units \u2014 so it was [\u2026]\t\t<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

She added, \u201cWalking in and not recognizing your own home that you haven\u2019t been in in a week, because you\u2019ve been in this nice Airbnb that\u2019s all clean. \u2026 Anyway, my point is, I walked into my home and didn\u2019t recognize my home, because it was in such a state of disaster that I thought someone had looted it.\u201d<\/p>\n
