To be frank, things are unwell between Alex Cooper<\/strong><\/a> and Alix Earle<\/strong><\/a>.<\/p>\n

Multiple sources reveal in the new issue of Us Weekly<\/em>\u00a0that the women are at odds. \u201cThere\u2019s a lot of tension,\u201d one source tells Us<\/em>.<\/p>\n

\u201cThey\u2019ve had a lot of drama between them [since] they decided to collaborate on Unwell,\u201d a second insider says. \u201cThey clashed over business, and their friendship is over because of it.\u201d<\/p>\n

Cooper \u2014 who hosts the famed \u201cCall Her Daddy\u201d podcast<\/a> \u2014 tapped Earle as her first hire when the Unwell Network officially launched in 2023. The \u201cHot Mess With Alix Earle\u201d<\/a> podcast dropped its first episode in September of that year, and Earle started to question whether signing a multi-year deal with the network was a wise choice.<\/p>\n

Now, Variety<\/em> reports that Cooper will no longer produce<\/a> \u201cHot Mess,\u201d with a source confirming it\u2019s true that Earle can now explore other opportunities \u2014 something she was already looking forward to, per the source.<\/p>\n

\u201cAlix is working on bigger projects not related to the podcast space,\u201d one insider adds.<\/p>\n

\n\t\t\tAlix Earle has a large family \u2013 and Us is taking a deep dive into it. Earle went viral in December 2022 for her \u201cGet Ready With Me\u201d TikToks and has since become an A-list influencer, gaining millions of followers, starring on magazine covers, attending celebrity events and more. In a September 2023 podcast episode [\u2026]\t\t<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

The same insider reveals to Us<\/em> that Alix\u2019s dad, Thomas \u201cTJ\u201d Earle<\/strong>, played a role. \u201cAlix\u2019s dad got more involved in her business decisions and did not like what Unwell was doing. He ultimately thought it ended up not being a smart business move,\u201d the source said.<\/p>\n

TJ has made a name for himself in the New Jersey construction business. Her family also owns Surfside Frozen Custard in Sea Girt, New Jersey.<\/p>\n

\u201cAlix felt taken advantage of,\u201d the first source claims, with a second insider telling Us<\/em> that Earle had already been \u201cpulling back\u201d from Cooper. She had previously added her younger sister Ashtin Earle<\/strong> to the mix as a cohost.<\/p>\n

We also just have such differing opinions on things and different stories. So, I think it\u2019s good and only creates more relatable moments for our audience.\u201d<\/p>\n
