\nRobert Bolt\u2019s play and film A Man for All
\nSeasons<\/em>\u00a0accurately depict St. Thomas More\u2019s views on the
\nrights of conscience, and his motives for martyrdom.<\/p>\n

More\u2019s involvement in the prosecution of heretics is also
\nexamined: even if More was a martyr of conscience, is it accurate
\nto call him a champion of religious freedom? One thing is certain:
