Kath Ebbs<\/strong> is sharing new thoughts on ex JoJo Siwa<\/strong><\/a>\u2019s friendship with Celebrity Big Brother UK<\/em> costar Chris Hughes<\/strong><\/a>.<\/p>\n

Siwa, 21, and Hughes, 32, formed a strong bond while competing on the reality series earlier this year, with Siwa revealing to the Love Island UK<\/em> alum that she no longer identifies as a lesbian<\/a>, but instead as queer. Hughes also came to Siwa\u2019s defense after fellow contestant Mickey Rourke<\/strong>\u00a0made homophobic comments<\/a> against her.<\/p>\n

\u201cI genuinely just thought that because of the Mickey Rouke thing, she had kind of trauma bonded a bit to Chris as he was the only one that stood up for her and didn\u2019t gaslight her,\u201d Ebbs, 27, shared in an interview with Betches<\/em><\/a> published on Wednesday, May 14. \u201cSo I thought that was a trauma bond that had kind of gone too far because of the environment in which they were in.\u201d<\/p>\n

On the reality competition series, Siwa and Hughes were also shown frequently cuddling up in bed, giving each other makeovers and writing secret messages to each other, leaving some fans questioning the nature of their friendship. While Ebbs doesn\u2019t believe any actual cheating went on between the two, they are still hurt by their closeness.<\/p>\n

\u201cI think my boundaries were crossed in a way that felt like a betrayal of trust repeatedly around affection,\u201d Ebbs stated. \u201cI believe she made a lapse in judgment, and I was obviously collateral in that, and I wish that didn\u2019t happen because it was incredibly hurtful. But I do not believe that she had malicious intent in that interaction.\u201d<\/p>\n

Ebbs previously revealed that they were \u201cdumped\u201d by Siwa<\/a> at Celebrity Big Brother UK<\/em> afterparty, claiming in an April 26 Instagram video, \u201cI was told there are confused feelings there \u2026 that they realized in the house that I wasn\u2019t the person they wanted to spend the foreseeable [future with].\u201d<\/p>\n

While chatting with Betches<\/em>, Ebbs admitted they have been the \u201cmost depressed I\u2019ve been in six years\u201d in the weeks since their and Siwa\u2019s split. \u201cThe person who used to be my support system has not only vanished but turned against me and allowed this behavior to continue towards me,\u201d the stated. \u201cEveryone\u2019s talking about me, but not to me. I feel voiceless.\u201d<\/p>\n

During the April 30 episode of the \u201cViall Files\u201d podcast<\/a>, Siwa stated that Hughes played no part<\/a> in her and Ebbs\u2019 breakup, and alleged that Ebbs \u201ccussed\u201d her out at the show party. Ebbs later called her claims \u201cuntrue\u201d<\/a> in a statement to Us Weekly<\/em>.<\/p>\n
