Meghan Markle<\/strong><\/a> is reflecting on her pregnancy experiences while carrying Archie and Lilibet<\/a>, her two kids with Prince Harry<\/strong><\/a>.<\/p>\n

\u201cA friend just said to me the other day, they were like, \u2018I just saw this picture I\u2019d forgotten about when you were so pregnant with Archie,\u2019\u201d Meghan, 43, recalled during the Tuesday, May 27, episode of her \u201cConfessions of a Female Founder\u201d podcast<\/a>. \u201cI mean, I gained 65 pounds with both pregnancies.\u201d<\/p>\n

While pregnant with Archie, who was born in May 2019, the Duchess of Sussex wore her \u201cfive-inch pointy toed stilettos\u201d to various events as she was still a London-based senior-working royal at the time.<\/p>\n

\u201cThey\u2019re like, \u2018You have the most enormous bump, and your tiny little ankles are bracing themselves in these high heels.\u2019 But all of my weight was in the front,\u201d Meghan recalled. \u201cHow on Earth am I not just tipping, face-planting. I\u2019m always clinging very closely to my husband, like \u2018Please don\u2019t let me fall.\u2019\u201d<\/p>\n

Meghan attended several public-facing events when she was pregnant with Archie. Months after his birth, she and Prince Harry made the decision to leave the royal family<\/a> and relocate to the United States in early 2020. Over a year later and settled in Montecito, Calif., the couple welcomed their daughter, Lilibet, in June 2021 \u2014 this time around, Meghan had no obligatory high-heels-only royal functions to attend.<\/p>\n

Tuesday\u2019s podcast, the last of the season, episode featured Meghan talking with Spanx founder Sara Blakely<\/strong>. The two discussed their respective roles as working mothers.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe amount of what you have created, evolved through, the level of what you have done while having this many children all at that age,\u201d Meghan said, referring to Blakely\u2019s four kids: Lazer, 15, twins Lincoln and Charlie, 10, and Tepper, 9.<\/p>\n

Meghan joked that she \u201calways\u201d remembers Blakely has a lot of kids.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt\u2019s something that I think people often forget,\u201d she continued. \u201cPeople forget that Lili\u2019s 3 and Archie\u2019s 5. You look at the past five, six years of my life. It\u2019s with being pregnant or with a newborn or with a toddler, and then another one.\u201d<\/p>\n
