The count down has begun, and this Friday June 6th, Tyler Perry\u2019s<\/strong><\/a> latest film Straw<\/a> is expected to debut on Netflix <\/a>with an extraordinary cast. <\/p>\n There was a special screening on Tuesday at the Paris Theater in Manhattan<\/a>, and the cast arrived with style & grace. Perry, who not only wrote and produced the film but also directed and shot it at his studio in Atlanta, looked dapper in a black tweed suit designed by Amiri<\/strong>. He layered his suit over a crisp white shirt that added sophistication, and his black boots were complimentary to his wide leg trousers.<\/p>\n From the talented Taraji P. Henson<\/strong>, to the multifaceted Teyana Taylor<\/strong>, and charismatic Sherri Sheppard,<\/strong> the film is bound to leave us glued to our screens. Henson,<\/strong> plays a single mother named \u201cJaniyah<\/em>\u201d who encounters a series of unfortunate circumstances while caring for her ill daughter. <\/p>\n Showing us her acting chops in iconic movies like <\/em>Baby Boy<\/em>,<\/strong> and The Color Purple<\/strong><\/em>, Henson will undoubtedly deliver a thought-provoking performance. She stunned on the carpet in a brown asymmetrical Stephanie Rolland<\/strong> gown that was strikingly beautiful. <\/p>\n\n In addition to Henson, Teyana Taylor <\/strong>showed up to the premiere in a ground-breaking black velvet dress by Schiaparelli<\/strong>. As one of the most avant-garde fashion houses in Paris, Schiaparelli is known for their bold, daring and theatrical details. Taylor embodied modernity with her gold accessories, including oversized earrings, a sculptural bangle and statement belt that was adorned with gold charms.<\/p>\n On our Instagram page, @jdot7ven<\/strong> shared, \u201cShe\u2019s overdue for a fashion icon award,<\/em>\u201d while @quinita1908<\/strong> commented, \u201cBaby girl can wear a newspaper and it will look fly!<\/em>\u201c<\/p>\n\n Looking light and refreshed for the Summer season in a white rhinestone embellished Retrofete <\/strong>suit was none other than Sherrie Shepherd <\/strong>who illuminated on the carpet. The television host radiated and exuded elegance in her white monochromatic ensemble, and perhaps we\u2019ve never seen Sherri look better.<\/p>\n With such a fashionable and multitalented all-star cast, we can\u2019t wait to tune in tomorrow on Netflix to watch Tyler Perry\u2019s<\/a> latest film Straw.<\/p>\n What say you?
