Grant Ellis<\/strong><\/a> is turning to a higher power after his break up with Juliana Pasquarosa<\/strong><\/a>.<\/p>\n

A few hours after sharing the news that the pair had decided to call off their engagement and end their relationship, Grant posted a single cross emoji on a black background in his Instagram Story on Friday, June 13.<\/p>\n

Grant, 31, shared news of the split via Instagram the same day.<\/p>\n

\u201cThis is one of the harder things I\u2019ve had to write, but I want to share it honestly. Juliana and I have decided to end our relationship,\u201d he wrote in his Story at the time. \u201cWe both gave this our best and poured a lot of love into each other, but after a lot of deep conversations, we\u2019ve come to the understanding that we\u2019re simply not the right fit long term.\u201d<\/p>\n

I\u2019ve been grateful to share that experience with Grant,\u201d Juliana, 28, wrote via her Instagram Stories [\u2026]\t\t<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\u201cThere\u2019s no negativity here, no resentment [and] just two people who care about each other and want the best for one another moving forward,\u201d he added. \u201cI\u2019ll always be grateful for what we shared and for the growth that came with it. Thank you to everyone who supported us and believed in our journey. This chapter is closing, but we\u2019re both walking away with love and respect in our hearts.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cWhile this isn\u2019t the ending we once imagined, it\u2019s one filled with mutual respect, care and hope for what\u2019s ahead,\u201d she also wrote. \u201cWe\u2019re still cheering each other on, just from different places now.\u201d<\/p>\n

The pair fell in love during season 29 of The Bachelor<\/em>. After he sent home runner-up Litia Garr<\/strong>, Grant proposed to Juliana<\/a> during the March finale.<\/p>\n
