Severe thunderstorm warnings that were issued for parts of New Hampshire have expired but a watch remains in place. <\/p>\n

The National Weather Service issued a severe thunderstorm warning for parts of Strafford, Belknap, Merrimack and Carroll counties until 6:15 p.m. but it has expired. <\/p>\n

A severe thunderstorm watch has been issued for Belknap, Cheshire, Hillsborough, Sullivan, Strafford, Rockingham and Merrimack counties until 9 p.m. Sunday.<\/p>\n

Severe weather is possible for some, including the risk for strong wind gusts and hail. <\/p>\n

Damaging wind gusts and hail will be possible in the strongest storms, and any storm that develops could produce torrential downpours. <\/p>\n

Storms should wrap up in the evening, clearing the coast after 7 p.m. with drier conditions overnight.<\/p>\n

WORK WEEK CHANGES<\/strong> <\/h2>\n

Behind this system, it turns cooler and less humid Sunday night into Monday.<\/p>\n

Sunny skies and comfortable air returns for early in the week. Highs will be in the 70s with low humidity.<\/p>\n

Heat and humidity will start to build again late in the week, with temperatures back near 90 degrees Thursday and Friday.<\/p>\n
