Sid Wilson<\/b><\/a> is best known for his heavy metal career, but in recent years, his relationship with fianc\u00e9e Kelly Osbourne<\/b><\/a> has taken center stage. The couple, who went public with their romance in 2022 after decades of friendship, are now proud parents and planning to tie the knot. Their engagement took place on July 5, 2025\u2014the same day Kelly\u2019s father, Ozzy Osbourne<\/strong><\/a>, gave his final performance in Birmingham, England<\/a>. Just over two weeks later, the family mourned Ozzy\u2019s passing<\/a> at age 76<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Previously, Kelly opened up about the \u201cbiggest fight\u201d she and Sid had\u2014over naming their son.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt\u2019s the biggest fight me and my baby\u2019s father have ever, ever, ever had, and probably ever, ever, will was over naming our son,\u201d she told her parents, Ozzy and Sharon Osbourne<\/b><\/a>, during a 2024 episode of \u201cThe Osbournes\u201d podcast. \u201cI wanted our son to have both of our last names, and he wouldn\u2019t let me, and we had a huge fight. I feel that I was forced into doing something I didn\u2019t want to do.\u201d\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Kelly clarified, however, that she \u201cloves\u201d Sid\u2019s name. \u201cDon\u2019t get me wrong. I love my baby\u2019s name. He is a Sidney,\u201d she acknowledged. \u201cI don\u2019t mind that he has his name Sid. I don\u2019t mind that they have the same middle name.\u201d \u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

The former Fashion Police<\/i> presenter went on to explain the reason why she still wants to change their son\u2019s name.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cWe both made our child, so they should have both of our last names,\u201d she added. \u201cNot one is more important than the other. \u2026 It was more about pleasing his family than it was about pleasing me, and I\u2019m his partner.\u201d<\/p>\n

Sid Wilson Is Also Known as DJ Starscream \u00a0<\/span><\/h2>\n

The Iowa native has been a turntablist for years, touring under the name DJ Starscream while performing solo. In Japan, the DJ has built a following as a jungle musician, having previously signed to work with N2O Records.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Sid\u2019s DJ name \u201cStarscream\u201d was inspired by his love for the Transformers<\/i> franchise, as one of the characters shares this name. Throughout the 1990s and the 2000s, Sid performed as a DJ in the Midwestern states.<\/p>\n

Sid Wilson Is Part of Slipknot<\/h2>\n

Aside from DJing, Sid also performs with the heavy metal band Slipknot. He joined the band in 1998 and has been with them ever since. He initially joined as its turntablist but also managed keyboard operations for the music group.<\/p>\n

By 2022, however, their relationship changed from platonic to romantic, as they confirmed they were dating at the time.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
