Influencer Hannah Carnat-Gronnerud<\/strong>\u2018s fianc\u00e9, Ian de Metz<\/strong>, died weeks before the couple was set to walk down the aisle.<\/p>\n

In a Monday, July 21, Instagram<\/a> post, Carnat-Gronnerud\u2019s friend shared that de Metz died on Thursday, July 17.<\/p>\n

\u201cHey everyone, Hannah\u2019s bestie Nat here,\u201d the message read. \u201cIt is with the heaviest heart that I have to share the news with you all, of the passing of Hannah\u2019s beloved husband Ian, on Thursday July 17, 2025. Ian was tragically killed<\/a> in a work accident.<\/p>\n

The message continued, \u201cHannah and Ian\u2019s families appreciate you all and your support during this tragedy<\/a>. We are continuing to surround them with love and ask you for your thoughts and prayers.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\t\t\tHiking influencer Hannah Moody was carving out a new path for herself before her sudden and mysterious death earlier this month.\u00a0 Moody\u2019s body was found hundreds of yards away from the Gateway Trailhead of the McDowell Sonoran Preserve in Scottsdale, Arizona on May 22. She was 31 years old.\u00a0 An avid outdoorswoman, Moody had amassed [\u2026]\t\t<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

The upload featured a collage of photos of the couple and funeral details for de Metz. After sharing the news, Carnat-Gronnerud reposted a fan tribute asking followers to \u201cplease pray\u201d for her.<\/p>\n

\u201cI don\u2019t have anything to give right now but I must say thank you,\u201d Carnat-Gronnerud wrote via her Instagram Story on Tuesday, July 22. \u201cI am in complete awe at the love so many of you feel between Ian and I. My baby. Thank you all for your messages, please keep sending them.\u201d<\/p>\n

Carnat-Gronnerud, known as \u201cthatgrlhannah\u201d online, shared in June that the pair were planning to tie the knot<\/a> on August 31.<\/p>\n

Carnat-Gronnerud, who is known for sharing posts about body positivity, most recently shared an Instagram video with de Metz on July 9. In the clip, the couple kissed.<\/p>\n
