Jennifer Lopez<\/strong><\/a> is soaking up summer with her mini-me.<\/p>\n

Lopez shared a selfie taken by vocal coach Stevie Mackey<\/strong> of her and Emme, 17, sitting in the backseat of a car in the Hamptons on Sunday, August 24, via Instagram<\/a>. In the image, Emme placed a hand on Lopez\u2019s shoulder as the duo smiled for the camera.<\/p>\n

Lopez, 56, also uploaded several images of her in an all-white outfit while posing on a bike. \u201cLe Sunshine \u2600\ufe0f,\u201d Lopez captioned her post. \u201c\ud83d\udeb2 @BlueJayBikes.\u201d<\/p>\n

Lopez shares Emme and twin Max<\/a> with ex-husband Marc Anthony<\/strong>, whom she was married to from 2004 until the exes finalized their divorce in 2014. She went on to reconnect with Ben Affleck<\/strong>, tying the knot with the actor in 2022. The pair finalized their divorce<\/a> earlier this year.<\/p>\n

\n\t\t\tJennifer Lopez is appreciating the little things in life, including her love for her children, Emme and Max. \u201cMy whole heart \ud83d\udc9a\ud83e\udd0d,\u201d the singer, 55, captioned an Instagram slideshow on Sunday, July 28, sharing a glimpse of how the twins have grown. In one pic, Lopez stood beside her 16-year-old son, Max, who draped an [\u2026]\t\t<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Months later, Lopez reflected on her year and her strong bond with her children. \u201cI had a really tough year. Unexpected things happened. And so, I read a lot of books. I did a lot of self-introspection,\u201d she said in an interview with El Pa\u00eds<\/em> published in May. \u201cI did meditation. I prayed a lot. I wanted to improve my relationship with God. I wanted to kind of really solidify the family unit that is me and my two children, my twins.\u201d<\/p>\n

Lopez noted that she sat her children down when she filed for divorce<\/a> from Affleck, 53, in August 2024.<\/p>\n

\u201cI said, \u2018I promise you, this is a difficult time, but you\u2019re going to see that I\u2019ll come out the other side stronger and better.\u2019 I promised them that and I did it,\u201d she explained. \u201cAnd they feel it now. That gives me a great sense of peace in my life.\u201d<\/p>\n
