Here we go again\u2026 MAYBE\u2026<\/p>\n

Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle)<\/strong><\/em><\/a> & Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor)<\/a><\/strong><\/em> just slept together on Young & the Restless<\/a>, & if this turns into something real, Victoria could be circling step-motherhood for a second time.<\/p>\n

A Step-Mom Redo Nobody Asked For<\/strong><\/h2>\n

Young & the Restless loves recycling its family dynamics, & this could be a prime example. Victoria didn\u2019t exactly audition for \u201cinvolved parental figure\u201d the first time she was in this position, back when she was married to Ashland Locke<\/em><\/a>. She was busy running Newman Enterprises, dealing with Ashland\u2019s chaos, & generally not bonding with a toddler. Victoria & Harrison barely had a moment together onscreen. Blink & you missed it.<\/p>\n

So the idea that one night with Kyle could eventually put her back in a maternal role for Harrison Locke<\/em> (Redding Munsell), just through a different Abbott man, is objectively funny to consider.<\/p>\n

\"Victoria<\/a><\/p>\n

Why This Time Might Actually Be Different<\/strong><\/h2>\n

Victoria\u2019s not the same woman she was during the Ashland years. She\u2019s had time, distance, & presumably some growth since then. If she & Kyle actually build something real, there\u2019s a chance she puts in more effort with Harrison than she did the first time. Or she could coast on autopilot again & let Kyle handle the parenting while she handles the business empire.<\/p>\n

After all, Kyle Abbott STILL lives with his parents & if they are not helping with Harrison, there\u2019s another Abbott or sweet Mrs. Martinez. Young & the Restless hasn\u2019t shown us which version of Victoria we\u2019re getting yet, & honestly, it hasn\u2019t even shown us if we\u2019re getting one at all.<\/p>\n

Victoria\u2019s Already Closer to This Kid Than She Thinks<\/strong><\/h2>\n

It\u2019s not like Victoria\u2019s been a stranger to Harrison\u2019s life this whole time. Her niece, Summer Newman (Allison Lanier)<\/a><\/strong><\/em>, is Harrison\u2019s adoptive mother. Her daughter, Claire Newman (Hayley Erin)<\/a><\/strong><\/em>, was his nanny, & later Kyle\u2019s serious girlfriend for a stretch. At this point, Victoria\u2019s basically one Newman family reunion away from being read into Harrison\u2019s baby book. She just hasn\u2019t been the one holding him.<\/p>\n

This isn\u2019t necessarily Victoria\u2019s first rodeo as a step-mom, & it might not be her last.<\/strong><\/em><\/a><\/h5>\n
