However, it can shape the way we show up, the way we speak, and even the way we live out our calling. If we are not careful, we can start building a life based on perception instead of purpose.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">When we are invested in the process of sanctification, something very freeing happens.\u00a0 We can begin to let go.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">We let go of trying to be someone else.<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br \/><\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">We let go of performing for approval.<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br \/><\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">We let go of the pressure to measure up.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">And we step into who God actually created us to be.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><center><iframe title=\"Stop Trying to Be Like Jesus &amp; Do This Instead\" width=\"1200\" height=\"675\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/VpHbabBoqLg?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe>\u00a0<\/iframe><\/center><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">There is something so powerful about being reduced down to simply yourself. Not the version of you shaped by comparison or expectation, but the version of you designed by God with intention and purpose.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Life is not about becoming more impressive. It is about becoming more aligned with God\u2019s purpose for our lives.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">As you surrender those thoughts of comparison, those pressures, and those expectations, you will find a new kind of peace, a grounded confidence that comes from knowing you are walking in your assignment, not someone else\u2019s.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">You do not have to carry the weight of everyone else\u2019s opinions.
