A mainly dry week is ahead, setting up what may be a nice Halloween this weekend.<\/p>\n

Clouds build on Monday morning, mainly in the North Country, as a cold front approaches. A spot shower is possible in Coos County on Monday afternoon, though measurable rain is not expected.<\/p>\n

Southern New Hampshire will likely see more sunshine, allowing temperatures to be mild once again with highs near 70. <\/p>\n

HALLOWEEN FORECAST<\/h2>\n

Cooler weather will move in during the week before temperatures swing warmer ahead of the weekend. <\/p>\n

Tuesday will feel cooler behind the front, with highs only reaching the 50s in the south and even a couple of 40s in the north. Widespread freezing temperatures are likely on Tuesday night into Wednesday.<\/p>\n

High pressure builds back in on Tuesday and Wednesday, keeping things mainly dry this week with a mix of sun and clouds. The next rain chance we’re monitoring is for late Thursday afternoon, though again, measurable precipitation looks minimal. <\/p>\n

Halloween looks mainly sunny and dry. Saturday will be a little cooler but sunny, with highs around 60. Temperatures will drop a bit after the sun goes down, so an extra layer under costumes might be warranted.<\/p>\n

Sunday also looks to be sunny, with milder highs in the mid-60s.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
