Scour – the band featuring vocalist Phil Anselmo (Pantera), guitarists Derek Engemann (Cast The Stone, China Girl, ex-Cattle Decapitation) and Mark Kloeppel (Cast The Stone, Misery Index), bassist John Jarvis (Agoraphobic Nosebleed, ex-Pig Destroyer), and drummer Adam Jarvis (Asthma Castle, Misery Index, Pig Destroyer) – will play their first and only show of 2024 on November 1 at Southport Hall in New Orleans. The show features Pentagram, Exhorder, and Sounding as the openers, and tickets will go on sale come September 6.
Scour also promises “more big news coming soon” which I’m guessing means new music. Scour has released three EPs throughout their career – Grey in 2016, Red in 2017, and Black in 2020 – and no full-length albums yet. That or Anselmo is quitting the band and Jason Momoa is joining as their new vocalist. I guess we’ll find out.
