THE STUDY, FROM CONSUMER AFFAIRS RANKED THE STATES BASED ON SEASONAL DATA AND ONLINE TRENDS, AS WELL AS THE NUMBER OF HAUNTED ATTRACTIONS, PUMPKIN PATCHES AND SPIRIT HALLOWEEN STORES PER 100,000 PEOPLE. A newly released study labels the Granite State as the most festive Halloween state in the country.The study from Consumer Affairs ranked the states based on seasonal data and online trends, as well as the number of haunted attractions, pumpkin patches and Spirit Halloween stores per 100,000 people.Rounding out the top five are Maine, Utah, Idaho and West Virginia.The bottom five states are Maryland, Hawaii, Georgia, Florida and New York.

A newly released study labels the Granite State as the most festive Halloween state in the country.

The study from Consumer Affairs ranked the states based on seasonal data and online trends, as well as the number of haunted attractions, pumpkin patches and Spirit Halloween stores per 100,000 people.

Rounding out the top five are Maine, Utah, Idaho and West Virginia.
