Impact weather Sunday: Steady rain, some downpours expected in NH; Wet Patriots game ahead
MANCHESTER, N.H. —
The next storm system arrives in New Hampshire Sunday with scattered showers to start then a steady rain into the afternoon. There could be a few downpours, especially in southern New Hampshire.

Scattered showers will arrive late Sunday morning and becoming steadier at times throughout the afternoon and evening.

Timing of the steadiest rain looks to be between 2 PM and 7 PM. Some areas could pick up 0.25 to 0.50 inches of rainfall.
Temperatures will struggle to get out of the 50s.
RAINY PATRIOTS GAME LIKELY
The rain is also expected over southern New England.
In Foxborough, it should be quite wet for the Patriots’ home opener against the Steelers, with rain expected around the start of the game and steadier rain likely during the second half. Temperatures in Foxborough will be in the 50s to around 60.
