What does Chance Chancellor on Y&R actually know? He’s lucky he’s pretty, but he’s also pretty dumb. It’s because of him everyone’s least favorite bug, Attorney Christine Blair is back in Genoa City. If Detective Chance Chancellor was even average at his job, life for Daniel Romalotti & his daughter Lucy would be different right now.
Speaking of the bug, Cricket herself is excited that Chance Chancellor is back on the force at GCPD. What does she know? If only Attorney Heather Stevens was alive to defend her husband properly.

Detective Chance is BACK & Still Knows Nothing
Detective Chance Chancellor (Connor Floyd) on Y&R is lucky he’s pretty because he is also pretty dumb. Frankly, Dwight Schrute on The Office is better at cracking cases than Chance Chancellor. For the love of God, can he or anyone else in Genoa City check the damn security building that Daniel Romalotti (Michael Graziadei) lives in? Young & the Restless fans on social media are betting that Daniel’s mother Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) will get to the building’s security footage first & day after day this idea seems more & more plausible. Not only is Phyllis Summers far more “techy” than Chance Chancellor, but she outsmarted him when faking her death & killing Jeremy Stark (James Hyde). Somehow Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) did better. Whoa!

The Bug is BACK & is Happy Chance is Back on the Force
The Young & the Restless writers need to stop the madness & have some things make sense at some point. Now, thanks to Chance Chancellor & his inadequacies in being a great detective, Christine Blair (Lauralee Bell) is back in Genoa City. Not only is Cricket back, but she is happy Chance is back on the force. Chance’s mother Nina Webster (Trica Cast) is not, however. Speaking of Nina Webster, she’s usually just a few steps behind Cricket so an appearance to check in with her son after getting back on the GCPD would make sense. Regardless, how is Christine happy that Chance is back? He’s her best friend’s son who has been shot in the line of duty & presumed dead overseas. Also, he’s still not good at his job.
Stones Left Unturned, Security Footage & Lily Winters
Detective Chance Chancellor & his team still have not checked the security footage in Daniel’s building. Regardless if Sharon Newman (Sharon Case) killed Heather Stevens (Vail Bloom) or not, she did in fact wrap her up, carry her downstairs, & dump her body in the river. Young & the Restless fans are betting that Phyllis Summers gets to it first. In the meantime, she’s sure to run into Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) somewhere in Genoa City & will question Lily herself. Does Lily even know Heather was killed in her building? She has not been questioned to see if she noticed anything strange lately in the building or if she’s noticed Sharon going in & out like she also lives in the building. Lily might be able to help with getting the security footage. Someone has to & it’s not going to Chance Chancellor, apparently.
