The Miami Marlins played their 12th game of the season on Wednesday, but Dane Myers treated it like there was a World Series ring on the line.

The Marlins took a 5-0 lead into the bottom of the ninth inning in their game against the New York Mets at Citi Field. Lake Bachar got Francisco Lindor to line out to right field and then struck out Juan Soto on three pitches. That brought Pete Alonso to the plate with two outs.

Alonso blasted a deep fly ball to center field that looked like it had a chance to put the Mets on the board. Instead, Myers went into a full sprint and made an incredible catch before slamming face-first into the outfield wall.
