Firefighters were on the scene of a large fire in Littleton on Sunday.The Littleton Fire Department confirmed the fire was burning in a building along Meadow Street. Firefighters were on the scene of a large fire in Littleton on Sunday.

The Littleton Fire Department confirmed the fire was burning in a building along Meadow Street. Officials said the building is used as a storage area for a lumber company.

The fire started at about 7:40 a.m. As of 12:30 p.m., the fire chief said the fire had been knocked down and crews were working to put out hot spots.

Witnesses shared video of the flames with News 9. One clip captured the moment a fireball erupted beyond the tree line, eliciting audible gasps from onlookers.

No injuries have been reported. The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
